Evelyn Aparicio Medrano is civiel ingenieur met een MSc in Water Resources Management (TU Delft) en een PhD in Toegepaste Natuurkunde (TU Eindhoven). Ze is Senior Consultant & Researcher met uitgebreide internationale ervaring in de toepassing van teledetectietechnologie en innovatieve toepassingen voor milieumonitoring, waterbeheer, de landbouwsector en duurzame ontwikkeling.
Ze richt zich op het ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van langetermijnprojecten rond aardobservatie en verschillende milieumodelleringstechnieken voor effectieve planning, implementatie, monitoring en evaluatie van meerdere duurzame activiteiten in stedelijke en landelijke gebieden wereldwijd. Centraal in haar werk staat de samenwerking tussen verschillende partijen zoals bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en overheden.
Evelyn heeft meerdere jaren ervaring in het buitenland in landen als Bolivia, Colombia, Bangladesh, Cambodja, Indonesië, Vietnam, Ghana, Ethiopië, Marokko, Burkina Faso en in Nederland.
